I’m really enjoying Horizon Zero Dawn so far. It cleverly remixes a lot of the best aspects from a great set of other games - Uncharted, Arkham Asylum, shades of Dragon Age and Elder Scrolls too - and even Mass Effect. The worldbuilding is particularly fantastic and feels novel

I did both! At her best, I think of Renegade Shep as someone who inspires loyalty by being ruthlessly focused on doing the right thing, regardless of the means. But some of the options do get a little needlessly villainous

valid interpretation, though yeah, degrees of villainy. I have to admit at being very annoyed at "lesser evil" morality in stories like this though, which is a common trope. "You have to tolerate my badness cuz I'm saving the universe" and yet...
