yes! beginner-mind is a very special (and unfortunately usually short-lived) thing where you are able to access the transcendent level by virtue of simply not having waded in far enough to pick up bad habits and cognitive biases.

Oh no - I don't think me being able to do 6 is beginner-mind. I think it's more understanding the business problem - like, do we even need software to solve this at all?

you'd be surprised. programmers are just as susceptible as anyone to the "when you've got a hammer every problem looks like a nail" bias.
