even beyond the obvious aspects of it being a bad idea to alienate your team from their own work, I think this idea doesn't even serve the users best. maybe this is a controversial (or just uninformed, I'm a coder not a designer) view but I feel pretty strongly about it.
what really serves the users best is solving their problems in ways they didn't even realize was possible. user is tasked with peeling potatoes. giving them a potato peeler with a nicer grip and a sharper blade is only mildly helpful. can do so much better.
