I don't understand it, but it does successfully convey the creepy NRxy vibe that account is built around.

In 1917 Duchamp created the ultimate piece of modernist art, in a joke that was never to be funny again: the urinal, to piss your art, your culture, your money, and ultimately Western Civilization, away. The Dutch obviously didn't get the message. Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam. pic.twitter.com/GHPTX3EQrj

Yeah, that's exactly the stuff that bugs me, the sneering at the destruction of 'western civilization' has a real bad ethnostate smell to me. By all means let us bag on Brutalism, which is often dreadful, but it needn't have that sort of dogwhistle.

don't you find odd that the Dada movement seems to be more correctly understood by reactionaries than anyone else though? Is there even a word that succinctly describes when a farce is misinterpreted as sincerity? That's like reverse cynicism and it's even worse.

idk, i mostly just go on a tear about Warhol and the damage he did to the concept of art at that point, with a segue into Joyce enshrining the concept of 'if it's inaccessible and abstruse it is Important and Deep' being a crime against literature

Joyce had the talent to back up his obtuseness, unfortunate that his style was so widely imitated
