Is there a party line on why Easter is named after a pagan goddess and why it's a lunar calender holiday? Never been clear on that.

lunar calendar part has an easy explanation. Pesach is the first full moon after the spring equinox. Easter is the first Sunday after the first day of Pesach. The name Easter is harder. Likely due to the accidental coincidence of that goddess' spring rites on the calendar.
