Plexuses (like clothes) wear out from use, so the more they shape-shift the faster their threads fray, making them weaker till they deteriorate completely. So how would YOU fight a Plexus? What weapon and tactic would you use to be always ready for an attack? #NodusPitchpic.twitter.com/hSslHVF3Ir

how do they respond to cold temperatures? does it make the shifting more sluggish? does it reduce their elasticity?

They are kinda magic but they have to have some kind of limits for the story to work. They don't have blood or any other liquids though. Also they don't feel pain. So maybe they don't... but if they do what would you use that you could carry around to always be ready?

most weapons that harm humans wouldn't be very effective. putting small bullet-sized holes in them wouldn't do shit, right? they don't bleed, don't have internal organs or nervous systems. What about chemical composition? What dissolves them?

I guess there's no reason acid shouldn't work. But how would you carry and use it? The are quick, hard to hit

aersol sprayer. would be a close range weapon intended to limit collateral damage. if that wasn't an issue a grenade launcher or a flame thrower would be ok. since they're magical creatures though, the most effective weapons should be similar kinds of magic. what dispels them?

To be honest I haven't thought about magic part yet. I just came up with this story recently and Since I started from plexuses it's the only part I put a lot of thought in. Soon I'll finish up with them and move on to people. Maybe there's something cool I can come up with magic
