depends on what is meant by licensing? if it's reasonable, cheap, and broadly available (like a beer+wine license) I'm for it. If it's prohibitive, expensive, or limited availability I'm against it. I'm massively in favor of marijuana convictions amnesty.

I don't want cities to have the authority to decide who gets to work in which store. They don't get to decide who the bodega on the corner hires, right? Just seems ridiculous. I would hope that with an amnesty in place ex-dealers could actually put that on their resume.

My dude has been running a small business with a handful of employees for more than 10 years. He's reliable, friendly, and runs a tight operation. I hope he opens a legal shop after legalization is passed in NY, which seems inevitable at this point.
