I do not. Nor do I think it represents all communities. People make choices based on local & regional values, Traditions, etc..

We exist out on the fringes by choice. We're usually a wonderful mix of artists, queer folk, "alternative lifestyles" and so on, w/a v. disproportionate number of neurodivergent people. We celebrate diversity & form our own communities, avoiding mainstream culture as possible.

well said. we do it out of necessity and have learned to love ourselves and our place on the fringes. I can't help but wonder what life would have been like if we didn't have to be on the fringes.

We'd be living in a society that acknowledges that there are two very different ways of perceiving, processing & communicating information, likely with some overlap. Maybe more than two. My question is whether such a society would be inclusive about everything, or just that one.
