Yes - one that I can't easily tell. But it seems that now the different cultures, values, and histories of these groups reinforced one another, and to some degree they have merged.

I'm New York City person so I can't easily tell that story either. I can very easily tell the story of why the unholy terror of ethnically motivated street gang fighting has made gun control an important part of East Coast urban culture though.

what I see today though is a raging shouting match in public that is respecting the culture and history of NOBODY involved and is also completely ignoring how bad we have made the lives of our children.
