that's really hard to answer in a medium like this one. at this point I'd say we're just very deep into a feedback loop of amplifying negative emotions.

I don't. The core question is this: is WWII caused by failures of capitalism? The argument is very strong that it is. The Weimar Republic was capitalist, standard analysis of the rise of the Nazis is minus their economic problems, no Nazi takeover.

I'm not willing to start a debate about the causes of WW2 in this medium. It won't reveal any truths and will likely only induce divisive rhetoric. I think you're oversimplifying and desperately fishing for something, but I'm not sure what.
