All divinities are female because nature/chaos is inherently feminine. The attempt to rationalize divinity into a masculine form is where we went wrong. The works of man are always temporary.

Man ages and dies, even male gods distort into corrupt forms, but femininity is always replaced by a younger version of itself. Any attempt to restrain a rivers path to the sea will be thwarted.

alternative take: the cycle of corruption and restoration is an inherent part of male divinity.

Appropriated. Men are only capable of the corruption part.

suppose restoration requires a male divinity to interact positively with a female divinity, does that make the male form not male? maybe that's an aspect of maleness.

But that's a lie, a female divinity is capable of doing that by itself, it's the male form that's incapable of sustaining itself. Keep in mind that human males and human females are both only approximations of the divine feminine.
