Trying Overwatch again. Which hero should I learn first?
you got bored (again) of Path of Exile too? I just had this same thought. Use to really enjoy Winston, Symmetra, and Zenyatta but that was many patches ago. Not sure what I would go with today.

Still playing POE, I'm mostly coming at OW from the esports side. Want to play enough so that I can follow the pro games.

Consider going in training mode and just test every hero's abilities once or twice, doesn't take long and is quite informative. Might find a hero you like

that said i think OWL is a travesty. they canceled APEX because of it. overall global quality of play will be lower, just cuz traditional sports inspired merchandising sells well even if the geographical affiliation is a forced farce. ideally the koreans would all stay in seoul.
-
ya it's pretty ridiculous to have "geolocated" teams when all the games are played in one studio in LA.
-
that'll change next year iirc but it's still ridiculous. let the koreans stay in seoul and cover their windows with photos of Dallas or wherever. but let them stay in their culture. ideally concurrent w APEX, but blizzard abruptly disallowed OGN from running it, fucking them over
-
I'm pretty much only paying attention to OWL out of Monte+Doa loyalty. Don't think it'll stick, though, the game just doesn't seem to be as interesting to watch.

I've been getting into Starcraft 2. It's still going strong, and it retains traditional Korean esports presentation and bracket format. http://Afreeca.tv produces the GSL, very similar to http://Spo.tv and OGN, very polished.
