Are ideas from different "intellectual canons" fundamentally incompatible? Or can you map between them? For example, is it possible to write a sufficient "rationalist guide to feminism" or vice versa? A lot of the work would be finding equivalent definitions.
we can't say if ideas are compatible or not unless we have some means of testing their implications or predictions. I think you're really asking if social movements with different aesthetics are compatible. The answer to that is a question: do they go to the same parties?
