BUT they really really really ought to introduce an option for creators to opt-in pay processing fees for their pledges.

if the article is correct though they may have their hands tied and can't even offer that option if they wanted to. this seems like a particularly pernicious case of regulations not matching up with a new business model. what makes sense for credit card swipe operators work here.
