If you're capable of doing advanced math, Javascript is an exercise in tedium. Just pay someone from a bootcamp to build a UI for you and instead focus on solving harder problems.

I don't, actually. Already admitted to being mediocre at it even though I studied it for years. Most of my daily work is not particularly mathy and I'm ok with this. BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT being able to think at the high level of abstraction is invaluable.

As I've gotten older and more experienced what I've noticed is that my understanding of what I didn't get much as a student has deepened and my appreciation for it grows. Have noticed the opposite of the more mundane, practical things I learned.
