Though Patton's is probably more entertaining and has more of that "fuck dumb people" smack down you're looking for. Alternatively, just read Linus Torvalds emails until satisfied.

Is there anybody that comes to mind who embodies "condescends to dumb people", who you also personally admire?

amusingly, in some ways I think the opposite can also be true at times – watts as a comedian (or just a person having a laugh) cast into the role of sensei or Serious Spiritual Teacher
-
he was a fascinating man. I think he left the Episcopalian Church in no small part because it was so humorless and Watts really liked to and needed to laugh about his spirituality. The Zen masters share this outlook so it's no surprise he was attracted to it.

I share it too! *points to bio* also see:http://www.visakanv.com/blog/sisyphus
