I'm NOT apologizing for his call to violence, which is crass and we have better means available (for now), but this is my family history too

and ancestral memories are a real thing. Twitter is bad for nuanced speech. The emotional response here is forgivable imo

"Nazi" has a straightforward, literal meaning: 'member of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei'. They killed his/yr families.
-
He's built a Rube Goldberg ideology linking the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei to people he wants to kill here, today.
-
The people he wants to kill are an agglomeration of actually really bad (but also pathetic) people, and people he disagrees with.
-
He was really specific about his definition. He was also IMO clearly trying to include a present population. I can see rejecting his definition, but it's clear what he means.
-
However, if he's trying to include both groups, as I think he is, his argument becomes still weaker.
-
What would you call a present day person who describes themselves as a Nazi? Or what about those wackjobs with khakis, white polo shirts, & Tiki torches, running around chanting "blood & soil"?
