I'm very sympathetic with this perspective. I was raised with "liberal" values by a family with a long history of left wing politics. I've never voted red in my life. I could spend my time criticizing Trump or criticizing the red tribe but that's not my world. I live in New York City. I'm experiencing a kind of internal exile from the blue tribe as they have descended into a kind of religious fervor and madness.
