They all migrated to America in the inter-war years, and it's a good thing they did because after 1933 they probably wouldn't have been able to and I wouldn't be alive to tweet this.

Migration is how humans survive in the world. It's how we evolved and is a far older, deeper, and more fundamental human universal than anything from the last ~10000 years of settler/farmer culture.
