In terms of Twitter tactics, I have learned the most from @MimeticValue. I sometimes turn them against him, but I think he appreciates that.

possibly some of those lessons are the wrong lessons. or possibly it's just that I value some things over mimesis.

I don't even know what are the exact lessons he's referring to lol. I just make jokes. I think @chagmed is the true master of twitter.

one that I had in mind: I do not aspire to have a follower count in the thousands. I think I'd lock my account if it got too large.

I've been thinking a lot about doing that recently. I've made all the close connections I need. I've never intended to be an influencer, but people projected that role onto me. Still trying to decide if I should take it or avoid it.

As you've alluded to before, it might depend on how much you meditate, in order to preserve sanity

One should never assume that more meditation is optimal for preserving sanity.

Yes, good point. Depends on where you are on the cycle of insight. The Dark Night is real. But some kind of grounding is necessary, friends, nature, etc

It also depends on the type of meditation. Gentle mindfulness and embodied movement might be pretty optimal for preserving sanity, but hardcore insight practice, definitely not, at least in the short run.

Was on the subway. What is this about insight practice?

How does one preserve what one doesn't have? Is so-called normal delusion now the sanity baseline?
