"Too Effective," is another way of saying, "Over-Optimized." The gods are much wiser than we are.

the argument against over-optimization is that it can induce fragility. the myth isn't about a fragile tower though. it's about a tower so sturdy it reached Heaven. it didn't collapse due to fragility. it was struck down by corrupt authority reacting against a challenger.

What brings you to the conclusion that it was a "Corrupt Authority"? The Biblical narrative is that G-d is Sovereign.

why do you trust the bible? the story predates that source. surely you can see that there is motivated reasoning and narrative distortion in a book meant to entrench the dominance of the cult of one particular god.
