The phenomena I mean to discuss is when you're stuck internally negotiating between two incompatible value systems that both seem valid. The result is an inability to act with confidence. Some call this "nihilism".
i dont think you actually disagree with that i'm really just trying to figure out why you like the label "nihilism", especially when your own usage of it is a bit unconventional

I agree. I can't decide what my thoughts mean. They feel meaningful relative to values/whatever meaning-generating memes I host and contain meaning (in the referential sense... perhaps the definition of a thought is "an awareness of meaning"). To "decide" is just more thought.
