still thinking about how to perfectly time ripeness on strawberries and avocados. each of those is 10x as good while perfectly ripe than when just a little under or over. the ripeness window lasts for no more than a single day (if that). frustrating!
this is not the issue. can accelerate it too by putting them in a plastic bag with a banana (or any other source of ethylene gas), or just by leaving it in the sun. the problem is TIMING. need to know when it's done ripening with precision.
