I enjoy the "Paul stridently shares pop culture opinions and everyone stridently disagrees" dynamic because of its joviality and mutual bafflement

srsly TLJ is such a perfect film, and nuGhostbusters was 'pretty decent,' which exactly as good as the first Ghostbusters only 100% less rapey.

TLJ is actually not terrible (or half of it is anyway), I would recommend seeing it if you like star wars at all.

it's about 35 minutes of not terrible movie spliced into an additional 110 minutes of terrible movie

The Last Jedi is filled with plot holes big enough to fly the Millennium Falcon through. It fundamentally mischaracterizes Luke Skywalker. It is a shockingly fascistic and nihilistic movie that elevates the use of brute force power as a source of authority.

literally every aspect of this analysis is not just wrong, but risible. Especially the charge about mischaracterization.
