If someone homeless or otherwise destitute recognize that “learn to code” is likey not the best option, and is extraordinarily difficult until you solve the homeless/destitute problem. A mental state of terror and exhaustion is not the right time to learn a complex skill.
from memory, there is significant risk factor in young people with genetic predisposition for schizophrenia. a psychedelic trip might trigger a psychotic break. the peak risk demographic there is 15-30 years old with a direct genetic relation with schizophrenia.

I don't recall reading about any studies of the effects of psychedelics on people with already fully developed schizophrenia or other psychoses, but I have an intuition that it's not a good idea.
