Ah yes. I can easily see how constant attention to the political dimensions of every day life could be factious! In fact, I think (I hope!) this factiousness can be shown to stem from a stance which "insufficiently left" (on the view I'm suggesting).

If we take our being in common as inescapable, & grant as axiomatic that we must share & communicate in order to be at all, then our politics should include figuring out how to support & protect this! If it doctrinal commitments degrade this basis, we're doing it wrong!
