Millennials are getting too old and dull for me. They’re starting to get into their own reruns and derp patterns now. I need to follow some bright Gen Zs thinking fresh post-Snapchat thoughts.

Joke's on you, as a person born in '98, I'm apparently from Generation Z.

I just started following you recently
98 is tail end of millennial by most boundaries I think. A starts in 2000?1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

No one can genuinely say millennial means anything because even the Wikipedia page has like 10 years of variance in the ending. But I just saw something recently about the millennial cutoff date being 97, so I don't fucking know anymore tbh.

You get to choose on the cusp. If you feel Z you are Z

I pick the lost generation. Let's be honest one of the two Millen/Z'ers are gonna be the next lost generation and we all know it; they're doing too decent to not spawn a bunch of mini-boomers in their wake.

the older half of the millennial generation (born in the 80s, like me) are the new lost generation. this is the cohort most impacted by the 2008 crash.

One does not simply “pick” the Lost gen. By Strauss-Howe theory, Lost and GenX are similar under nomad/awakening culture. GenZ goes with Silents. Millennials with Greatest. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strauss–Howe_generational_theory#Nomad …pic.twitter.com/xF3UGX30vQ

1) that implies a big fucking war is coming and I wish you wouldn't (leave me to my hopeful delusions) 2) my generation is cut in half. 80's born is very different than 90's born. we older Millennials do not have the same generational characteristics as the younger half.

We’ll let the oldest millennials into GenX if you pay us all $3.50, but the cutoff is 1984 tops
If not, yeah go wage war1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes
well that covers me (born 84) so ok lol I'd place the cutoff at 1989 personally. infant amnesia ends at around 4 for most, so those a 1989 baby would begin having memories in 1993 and squeeze in just a couple of years before we were playing frisbee with AOL CDs
