The thing I like the least is how they conflate the terms "minds" and "brains". Are they working on brain tissue? Ok, that's good work, carry on. Are they "trying to create Neanderthal minds"? That's a very very different thing to me.

agree and I'm also frequently annoyed by this conflation. that there is obviously a relationship between minds and brains does not mean that minds and brains are the same thing.
