Prion disease is a bit of a worry with human meat. Would it make a difference if it the person agreed beforehand? I’d be worried that I’d get a taste for it and couldn’t look at another human the same way again

well yeah, thus the cloned part. presumably screened for prions and a sustainable source if it turns out to be good.

Yeah that’s a tricky question. As I’m an omnivore I’m not really qualified to answer. Vat grown meat without any kind of brain should satisfy a vegan’s ethical qualms, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s vegan as such

One line of reasoning I've seen is that since the original biopsy sample used to create the lab grown meat came from an animal, the resulting product would be vegetarian, but not vegan
