I've met 3 in the last 12 months. One was a firefighter who was trying to get into MAPS trials for PTSD treatment (couldn't, found an undeground therapist instead). Another was a middle aged church-going Catholic mom who wanted to experience "10 years of therapy in an afternoon"
and the third was a college student in the middle of a spiritual awakening and unsure on what direction to go in. all 3 were confirmed Catholics and felt that was an important part of their life. they weren't looking to replace it, but rather, supplement it.

Dan, this is a pulled punch if anything. If there's any disrespect it's you trying to advise that religion be treated with kid gloves. And if people abandon medical/spiritual tools because they're offended it's only their fault. No reason to spite yourself.
