i think people get frustrated because they arrived at their ethics via logic but unconditional solidarity (aka loyalty) is a product of irrationality

ethics could sort-of be logical if we have a good enough model of the human brain (including all varieties of diversity) and understand how actions interact at scale too bad we're not anywhere close to having these things yet
