Been thinking a lot about the word 'bioethical'. It immediately calls to mind many of the topics I find so important (cloning, genetic editing, reproduction), but I don't really like the suffix 'ethical', since I think these issues are no longer a matter of ethics.

they say bio-ethics but they mean particular enforcement of bio-morality the irony of them not realizing their solidarity with anti-abortion Christians

I have a strange relationship to the pro-life christian crowd. Frankly, they are one of the few groups that seems to actually be awake to these issues. The vast majority of people are sleepwalking into a future of techno-biological bizarrity.

i know what you mean. i disagree with their ideology and policy preferences but they are actually paying attention at least.
