We technically fell about 60 short of our first stretch goal, but it's a goddamn terrible time to be alive, and you all came out for us and supported us, so we're calling that one a win too. You know what that means -- THE COUNTRY BEARS COMMENTARY IS GO!

11 has passed. Turns out the news was just this tree.

Diner slang is a great way to save time by replacing words with approximately the same number of words, but more confusing.

Many of you got it! Peter Gallagher, who's been in a coma in multiple roles. I shouldn't have underestimated EYEBROW POWER.

Twitter has the length of the Dr. Strange movie to answer.

Audrey wants to know if people would know who she means by "the guy who sleeps a lot with the eyebrows" (who she thinks should play Dr. Strange based on the cartoon version). I got it, but I maintain that's because I'm married to her.

I dunno. I feel like some of these new Disney projects might be spreading Star Wars a bit thin.

Happy MOTHER!’s Day. Wherever you are, however you celebrate, may all your heretofore dangerously unbraced kitchen sinks be well and truly braced at last.

Runner up is probably Sweeney Todd, although only once live for that one: - original production with Lansbury and Cariou on DVD - Burton movie - concert production with Emma Thompson on PBS - live in that village production where you could order meat pies Who cares? I dunno!

It's the show I've seen the most versions of: - American Playhouse original Broadway production on video (still the gold standard) - 1998 West End Revival (pretty good) - the movie (awful) - Hudson Shakespeare Festival 2019 (very good) - NY City Center Encores 2022 (Excellent)

If you're telling me Cinderella is the only person in the whole kingdom that slipper fits, then that prince is definitely dating Bigfoot.

I love Into the Woods as a stage show, but I wonder if the reason it didn't work as a movie (beyond Disney neutering it) is that 90% of it is people singing about the lessons they learned from the exciting thing that just happened offstage.

Dear God -- if the man currently screaming at this Q car that we should all "work for Jesus Holy Ghost" or the devil will kill our families is employed by you, consider switching your recruiting staff. Or just use LinkdIn.

"I gotta find something to make me think. Hardy Boys. Too easy. Nancy Drew. Too hard. Ah! Perfect. Bonfire of the Vanities!". Rewatching Futurama and this random slam on BotV made me laugh hard.
