As someone who works as a social face on a few projects, this is everything you should never do. What are you 16? If your fans are disagrewing with a move you've made, never write them off as "XD look at these toxic people" you listen to their argument and work with them.
Also just as an added note, I'm a woman, and I personally think barring off another gender from an event is gross and frankly just pandering, and if I were going I would honestly avoid that panel. It's debilitating and sexist.
