I just wrote about a technique that saved me from making a $100,000 mistake. Of the 3000 interviews I did at ZeroCater, this one was the strangest.

It seems like it only supports round robin scheduling per layer?

Anyone know how to configure PagerDuty to do "fair" scheduling in a "follow the sun" schedule when different regions have different numbers of people? We have uneven numbers of people on US east coast, west coast, UK, and NZ.

Looking for contracting opportunities, I've done a mix of Dev and Ops since before we concatenated the strings. Folk on LinkedIn have said nicer stuff about me than I could ever say of myself

There’s some interesting new (?) questions this year, I’m looking forward to seeing results of how people start their production apps.

Spotify’s ad tech will continue to expand, but it will only affect podcasts if you listen to them in Spotify. Keep using independent podcast apps, and the surveillance abilities by large podcast publishers will remain extremely limited.

Anyway, if Cloudflare won't, you should sponsor WireGuard. It's not only a modern VPN design that replaced some of the most bloated legacy tech, it's also a fast implementation that was painstakingly pushed into the Linux kernel for everyone to use.

Has Cloudflare contributed any money to the WireGuard project? I don't see them on the list. They are a $5B publicly traded company that built a (now enterprise) product around a free open source design by an independent developer...

I've been thinking a lot about formatting of code recently and reading through the Clojure Style guide (credit to ). When working on any size project what are people's pet peeve? What are common mistakes that Junior developers like myself should watch out for?
