@mjtsai Nope. It seems like a weird bifurcation. Surprised that they would open it up this much in JS, frankly. - View other replies

@danielpunkass Yeah, I assumed that there was some principled reason for not doing it in AppleScript long ago. Anyway, I like the idea. -
@mjtsai It will certainly open up a lot of new automation possibilities.

@danielpunkass:@implementation NSObject (FunWebKitHacks) + (BOOL)isSelectorExcludedFromWebScript:(SEL)aSelector { return NO; }@end -
@speth Yes, that is handy within a native ObjC app - especially when debugging.

@haineux@ceejbot@danielpunkass just in time for Swift? -
@rone@ceejbot@danielpunkass Point is that you can make a FULL OS X application in JS now. Including full UI and animations and etc.

@danielpunkass@josephschmitt Oh wow. That’s… kind of awesome. -
@KuraFire@danielpunkass yup! you still need pretty deep knowledge of how Obj-C and Cocoa work to use it effectively, but it’s damn cool.

@danielpunkass Wow! That’s way beyond “scripting.”
