@danielpunkass The "not clickable in Help window" bit seems cumbersome, though. @mjtsai @SpamSieve

@chucker@danielpunkass Unfortunately, the system help viewer now blocks custom URL schemes. (Not sure whether this is intentional.) -

@danielpunkass@mjtsai I like the way you change some settings in SpamSieve from an AppleScript. -
@mcelhearn@danielpunkass I’m actually not satisfied with that. Those settings will be more easily discovered/explained in the prefs window. - View other replies

@mjtsai@mcelhearn I have one hacky setting like that in FastScripts (to hide or show the menu bar icon).

@danielpunkass@mjtsai@spamsieve cool idea, reminds me of Eudora. (Which is always a good thing.)http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/mac/xsettings.html … - View other replies

@tullera@danielpunkass@rosyna Yes, I got the idea from Eudora. (Though Eudora didn’t put the links in its manual.) -
@mjtsai@tullera@danielpunkass@rosyna And the Eudora settings had numbers rather than names. -
@mjtsai@tullera@danielpunkass IIRC, the Eudora numbers were index numbers. I seem to remember links in help documents in later versions.

@danielpunkass Thanks, although now that you posted a screenshot I see a typo. :) -
@danielpunkass@mjtsai That's from Eudora, isn't it? -
@danielpunkass@mjtsai I’d love to see@bbedit handle its Expert Preferences this way.
