@danielpunkass Right. ICU’s API is a side issue; the real one is that Apple didn’t test.
Whether you think date calculations or easy or hard, it might be a good idea to write a unit test for January 1, 2014.

@drdrang Yes, since 10.4. I assume the bug is just due to poor design or testing. Don’t really understand why people keep mentioning ICU.

@danielpunkass Yes! The year changeover, leap year, and the twice-yearly time changes are the spots that need extra testing. -
@drdrang@danielpunkass Not forgetting that daylight savings dates are region specific - bleah. The world is a big inconsistent place. -
@eableson@danielpunkass And the DST rules change at the whim of politicians. But this doesn’t seem to be a DST problem.
