Don't draw viability conclusions from Sparrow's pop-star trajectory. Study companies like Omni and Panic who thrive by charging fair prices.

@danielpunkass Omni & Panic are established brands with existing following. Harder for new shop to follow suit. -

@danielpunkass Agreed, but they also didn’t have to start to compete on the App Stores. Bootstrapping yourself is the crux of the issue now.

@danielpunkass I worked for one of those companies, too. In the end, you can justify selling out however you want, but you lose trust.
