Interestingly, the word ‘vaccine’ comes from the Latin ‘vacca’ meaning ‘cow’, because since the late 18th Century vaccines have been used to cow the populace into submission with microchips.

Shoutout to everybody who's skeptical of the big vaccine news on the grounds that it hasn't been peer reviewed yet but is happy to share Facebook posts "just asking questions" about whether 5G caused Covid to force everyone to buy Zoom

I just had to read a racist tweet against the VP-elect by a prominent politician. So a reminder of what the kids of immigrants do: The vaccine news today? The company behind it is BioNTech. From Mainz. The founders? Uğur Şahin and Özlem Türeci. Both kids of immigrants.

31 years ago this month, the last ep of Goes Forth was screened. Most of us treasure the series as 3 unmatched hours of comedy. But there was a deeper message throughout encapsulated in this moving final scene.

Plants have evolved a huge range of ways to capture & kill prey, from narcotic nectar to bird-snaring seeds. If you are one of the angry vegans writing to tell me you are furious I tweeted a pic of a dairy cow last month, just wait till I tell you about what plants do.

The US now faces a choice: either we mean it when we say "nobody is above the law," or we don't - and it's just an empty tag line.

What does a Biden administration mean for Brexit Britain? Allow me to join those who give an optimistic assessment. I fear those giving a negative assessment have bought into a false Trump narrative. (Thread)

There are obviously difficult days ahead, legal complications, a deeply divided nation and a toxic legacy to contend with, but for now, let’s take one second to appreciate how deeply, deeply funny it is that Trump lost.

Unless he confirms in advance that this is a concession speech, no broadcaster should cover this. Leave him howling in the dark, spitting lies and bile to an empty room.

I nearly jumped out of my skin at the sudden sound of thousands of wingbeats and chirps. So beautiful to see forming up and feeding on the stubbles. Such a difference removing tillage & sowing directly into harvest stubbles, leaving winter feed for these little birds
