All these softballs so far. And then the incredibly irrelevant and invasive Q of “how close were you to terminating?” JFC! Take the general public’s temperature, #SundayNight and realise NONE of us want this positioned as meet-cute. We want to dig deep into the rorting & ethics.

Did you not think the electorate of New England should have had all the facts about how you dictated other people’s lives while conducting your own so contrary to those values you ran for re-election on?

Oh geez. So glad this awkward, depressing, dodging
#SundayNight interview is now out there for Sebastian to watch when he’s older

I don’t think the public should be privy to Vikki Campion’s incredibly difficult decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy. She owes nobody any of this thought-process. It feels gross that this is even a focus, over the nepotism and abuse of taxpayer money.

It very much feels like
#SundayNight have glided over the real issues of how Vikki got a series of high-paying jobs within The Nationals - seemingly because of her relationship with Joyce - and the sordid talk of Natalie & abortion is being offered as a distraction.Show this thread -
Oh, goody - we now get to discuss whether or not conservative politician Barnaby Joyce impregnating his colleague was newsworthy or not ...

Vikki who worked “for 8 or 9 years” as a journalist was upset (seemingly surprised?!) by media interest and how it went about getting info about this explosive
#AusPol news ... Again - how did she get such high-paying jobs as media adviser when shocked by this?!#SundayNightShow this thread -
Can we not go back to how she kept getting moved around within The Nationals despite this rather naive outlook of basic media & Publicity?

“Admonish them privately, back them publicly” - OKAY! Let’s talk then about what led to this extraordinary act, and the suggestion of nepotism and rorting that made it untenable for the PM to back his deputy.

Jesus this
#SundayNight interview is a trainwreck. It’s only succeeding in proving everything@TonyHWindsor has ever said or hinted about Barnaby Joyce to be absolutely correct ...Show this thread -
$150K is not worth what this
#SundayNight interview will no doubt do to Joyce’s wife and daughters, or son when he’s older ... This is a pointless and poor attempt at a PR exercise that is answering every question the general of public had no interest in knowing about.Show this thread
