      an illision that takes more than 300msec to generate shows that filling in CANNOT occur during normal vision. Takes too long.

      illusory conjunction was treisman's term for it. An orphaned color binds to a handy shape. Binding is fast spreading is not.

      That won't work. The color that fills in depends on the shape that appears, as they explain. Not so easy to dismiss. see it.

          the explanation does not work, as I said. Because the color fills in after the shape appears. AND the brain is NOT ignoring
