If we don't like something or recoil from modern innovations does it mean that our brains haven't evolved the "intuitions" to accept it? Apparently the Neanderthal stigma hasn't evolved out of the academic psyche.

I suspect that, as our brains are not able to evolve to adapt to the environment that they themselves are shaping, our palaeolithic brains are instead shaping the environment to fit what they have evolved to be comfortable with.
