Oh dear. Dan, this book is not humane nor “sane” in any sense that makes sense. It isn’t even philosophically coherent. It's a polemic that confuses map with territory and teleonomy with teleology. It's a scientific mess.
I like facts, not jargon. Show me where she’s got her facts wrong and spare me the fashionable slogans about confusing teleonomy and teleology.

I'm a bit disappointed that this hasn't been responded to. Alex Sharpe is a Professor of Law at the University of Warwick. She makes some really great arguments against Helen Joyce's body of work.
