Yes. If they don't believe then why else would they work so hard at pretending?

I would go if they expanded the number of books studied to several hundred. A sermon on "As I Lay Dying", or Baldwin's "Go Tell it on The Mountain would get me up on a Sunday morning. Basically a free university Lit class.

At the same time, you wouldn't want the canon to be too large, or the significance of any individual item within it will diminish in consequence.

In India, ancient Art forms of theatre ritual like Koodiyattam, Mudiyettu, Kathakali etc. are performed in temples. These traditional theatre rituals tell mythological stories.
