I shall watch later. Sam just put out a new free will video. A summation of his thoughts. I noticed he seemed to put a lot of emphasis on not understanding the mechanisms whereby we draw our thoughts, and intent. And seemed to make conclusions too quickly about this matter imo

I think autonomy and control are good enough, we can just throw away the older phrase "free will". However, I can't see any justification for punishment since what's happening is a problem with the control system. So this calls for a fix of the system. Punishment makes no sense.

The "deterministic" view will always have that "wild card" argument of "everything is determined, control is an ilussion", witch is just the end of the discussion. I wonder how that people would describe a NOT determenistic world, and how that world would differ from this one.
