If, as many predict, doctors and nurses will soon have to make terrible choices about who gets the ventilator and who dies, they should send Trump brief descriptions of the patients waiting in line and demand he make the decision. After all, his inaction caused the crisis.

Globalization causes the problem. Just because it originated in China doesn't make it China's vault. If anything China halted it for a couple of months but as infectious as it is, it would have been around the world a couple of time already had it started in New York.

Except you can't. In my fucked up country, Romania, the gov acted strangely responsible, and we had massive problems with a lot of Romanians coming back from Italy. Schools closed almost from day 1, and now a pretty harsh curfew.
