I stopped after reading that AI can’t be trustworthy.

Statements like, "Machines are not trustworthy; only humans can be trustworthy", are only meaningful AFTER you have defined what you mean by AI. In my lexicon, this is a meaningless statement because it makes assertions that cannot be known.

The terms ethics and morality are British terms meant to replace the concept of responsibility. it's time that they were discarded

The world is ascending into a descending spiral of theistic AI. Whatever it does, so long as it elects the wealthy & powerful ; is all ethically legislated by divine intervention committees. Wiki leaks is its demon haunted adversary, rather than the exploitation & abuse networks.

Considering our best minds haven't been able to stop nuclear proliferation and bring nuclear disarmament in the last 80 years, despite an alliance of prominent pacificsts ranging from Bernard Russel to Albert Einstein, I am pessimistic we will be able to prevent an AI apocalypse.

I think there will need to be an AI disaster equivilant to Chernobyl before governments begin to take this seriously. We'll have to fight Skynet at least once! Look on the bright side, fighting the rampaging drones will be exciting and might finally unite us all.
