  1. I am very happy that we use far less gas for heating/hot water than the average of all house types. But that bar chart is weird. The deltas are probably proportional, but the bars themselves…

  2. The final, finetuned models, use each layer almost equally. The interesting patterns here seem to be: for lemmatization, almost all layers are used equally. For the other tasks, use increases per layer. 4/4

  3. This can give hints where information is represented in the initial encoder. Interestingly, the information seems to be distributed quite differently between ML BERT and BERTje. In both, the last layers are used most for dependencies and the initial layers for lemmatization. 2/4

  4. It's really nice what one can do with software-defined radio and an affordable DVB-T receiver.

  5. Oh my, I am not sure what this is, if not entertaining.

  6. Odgovor korisniku/ci

  7. Nog een aardig grafiekje van het RIVM voor de mensen die geloven dat Nederland weer het braafste jongetje van de klas is. We stoten na Malta het meeste ammoniak uit per hectare grond

  8. Excited to pick up an old hobby again!

  9. Het is een soort van wedstrijd. Alleen jammer dat wij erin zitten. Hoewel 2.1 graden hoger lijkt toch wat verdacht...

  10. Yep, a Docker image from before I was born.

  11. Built a wifi-connected smart meter reader that sends our electricity/gas consumption via MQTT to InfluxDB for visualization with Grafana. BOM: ~15 Euro. Thanks to for making and requiring a straightforward, standard & open protocol.

  12. Intel even wrote a whitepaper about this in 2012. This image of noise created when attaching a USB 3.0 hard disk is very telling.

  13. Made a base for a battery-powered Wemos D1 mini sensor. Left: connection between D0 and reset pins to awake the ESP from deep sleep. The jumper can be used to disable this (for flashing). The Schottky diode is to avoid short-circuiting the ESP when pressing the reset button.

  14. Next completed project: distance measure with sonar. Bit messy, since I needed to add a voltage divider to use the 5V sensor with the 3.3v .

  15. Added an OLED screen.

  16. ‘Productizing' (for in our home) my wifi temperature/humidity sensor. Wemos D1 mini microcontroller + I2C shield. Pretty proud of my soldering after so many years.

  17. Created a WiFi connected network sensor. NodeMCU microcontroller, BME 280 temp/humidity/pressure sensor. Results pushed through MQTT, visualized with Home Assistant.

  18. Getting started with Arduino as well. Loads of fun. A traffic light for Lego cars (thanks to Liset for building the prop). There is a cliffhanger, erm car driving off the cliff.
