    Today on , one police officer genuinely said the phrase "we're just following orders". A large number were wearing Blue Lives Matter badges, some had their badge numbers covered. These were officers. We saw you. The police must be defunded.

    "The call was made by UK Immigration Enforcement after a group of protesters gathered at the address where UKIE staff were in attendance. Police Scotland doesn't assist in the removal of asylum seekers. Officers are at the scene to police the protest and to ensure public safety"

    Israel is a nuclear armed regional super power & occupying force, whilst Palestinians locked down for generations, robbed & ethnically cleansed - 2 sides are not equal & your concerns will do nothing to stop the massacre of innocents

    I am urging Israel and the Palestinians to step back from the brink and for both sides to show restraint. The UK is deeply concerned by the growing violence and civilian casualties and we want to see an urgent de-escalation of tensions.

    None of the £7.5m Spaces for People was spent on cycling or walking in Govan😡 I'm asking the SNP to review all Govan's main roads.🚶‍♂️👩‍🦽🚴‍♀️ Helen Street, Paisley RW and others have high pollution, poor crossing and stop cycling. 20 min city? Only if you drive it seems

    Day 3 of and is at Paisley Rd West. This 3 mile road has a couple of cycle lanes, which are situated where Paisley Rd West splits into 4 lanes but it is mostly a very wide two lane road (which lots of cyclists use regularly)

    We don't have trust funds or 'the bank of mum and dad' to carry us between job transitions, I've spent weeks on supernoodles waiting for a new job pay, most of us have. So tories like can get off her high horse

    This is a fundamental point, not just about opening avenues to the working class having real representation but about how we are expected to hold savings when we're in low paid and often precarious work.

    Probably a point to be made about new MSPs being expected to live, travel, dress, spend money like an MSP for a month before they receive a salary... Hello, unplanned overdraft... 😨 Will be asking in induction tomorrow if advances are an option.

    It's no coincidence thst Israel is fermenting clashes & committing ethnic cleansing in now. The first Palestinian elections since 2006 were due to take place in late May, after a breakthrough agreement between Fatah & Hamas. Israel cannot tolerate Palestinian unity.
